Not all Crucial SSDs are created equal. The MX series offers noticeably better performance, endurance, and features like DRAM cache — while the BX series is more of a budget-tier drive with slower sustained speeds.
We’ve personally used BX drives (yep, even us!) and while they’re fine for basic storage, you’ll notice lag if you try to run your main OS or heavier apps off them. The MX line is worth the small extra cost if you care about speed or responsiveness.
